Zirka Circus visit

On Thursday afternoon the Clive Kids were entertained for 20minutes with some interesting acrobats.
They were very talented and had obviously been practicing for years!

Digital circus

Clive school are working alongside the experts from Digital Circus.
Today we had challenges to move through while working with a buddy.
We had to programme an Edison Bot and estimate cms and rotations.

Inspirational Maths Tasks and Collaboration!

For the first two weeks of Term 2, we have been working collaboratively on Inspirational Maths tasks from 'YouCubed'.
This week have been watching videos from Jo Boaler and she explains that no one is born with a 'Maths Brain' as we all have different experiences which lead to how we can feel about Maths.
Instead of thinking "this is difficult, I give up", look at the problem with a positive mindset, because it has been proven that if you find a task difficult and make mistakes, then your brain actually learns from these mistakes.
